Foundation Installation

FLI can provide a screw pile service, using our own site staff. We can also recommend one of our trained installation companies to work on our behalf

FLI can provide a complete turnkey service.  Examples of other companies that we have trained to install our screw piles include Carillion, BAM Nuttall and Birse.

Examples of Installation Techniques:

Heavy Plant (RRV, JCB, Excavators) -

FLI Screw piles can be installed with a diverse range of machinery to suit the site.

We can either install our foundations with large plant such as RRVs in Rail or a 360 rubber duck in Highways

Hand Installation -

Our foundations can also be installed with our Hand Held Torque Motor, this only needs two men to opporate it and can be carried on site. It is useful for sites with restricted access or a small plot to work on.

Training Course

FLI screw pile training courses are specifically designed to train site personnel in screw pile installation. Training courses take place at FLI's premises and are carried out by FLI's structural engineers, with sessions covering the theory of screw piling, practical hands on work and problem solving.  Separate courses are run for site supervisors and for pile testing.
