Geotechnical Investigations

As part of our turnkey service, Geotechnical or Ground Investigations can be carried out by us, as well as the pile design, manufacture, installation and screw pile testing.  FLI Structures have in-house engineers to ensure the foundation design is in accordance with the appropriate structure loadings and the Site Investigation, borehole data. 

By carrying out a Geotechnical Investigations in accordance with our specification, we are able to reduce the risk of either pile refusal or the need for longer piles.  Our designers require a detailed, accurate ground investigation including:

• Soil type
• Borehole log with SPT values
• Water table depth

FLI Structures geotechnical process involves the following steps:

• Site Investigation
• Window sampling
• Ground Investigation Surveys
• Resistivity Testing
